We Are One

"Has Vlad been picking on you?" Caitlyn smiled, "We'll make it all better."

Branxton smiled, "Good to know." He chewed on his bottom lip, thinking about his half brother.

"I'm sure Nils has something great planned for tonight," Caitlyn said excitedly as she looked up to see if anyone else would arrive.

Branxton nodded in agreement, looking at Nils before glancing around the graveyard.

Caitlyn yawned trying to decide whether or not to crawl into Nils' lap without warning to bite his nose. She cackled, thinking her best friend looked a little too stressed at the moment.

Branxton chuckled quietly and sat down on the floor, staring up at the sky.

Caitlyn moved closer to Nils and gave him a hug.

Branxton watched with a smile on his face, munching on his half eaten toblerone.

John wandered over and sat down on a tombstone. He pulled a half finished bottle of whiskey out of his jacket. "Any one want it?"

"What would Daddy say, Nilsy?" Caitlyn joked, leaning on her friend a little.

Branxton watched quietly, shoving the wrapper of his chocolate bar into his pocket.

"No need to get grumpy," Caitlyn chuckled. "That's Josie's job."

"Can I have some?" Branxton held his hand out for the bottle.

Caitlyn kissed Nils' cheek comically. "Cheer up. We're all going to have fun."

Branxton took a large swig of the whisky, wincing at the bitter taste.

"You should stay with me. It would be fun," Caitlyn smiled. "But what's wrong?"

Branxton handed the whisky back to Nils and set his own hands on fire.

"Yeah," Caitlyn frowned then pouted, "No one is ever going to want to date me."

Branxton looked up, "Why not?"
